BRIEF
Our client, a globally renowned advertising and media agency, is looking for an Analytics and Insights Manager to join their going digital analytics team. He/she needs to work with different teams to generate the right outputs to help drive more effective and efficient cross-media decisions and transform data and reporting into insights and recommendations for both clients and the company.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Apply strategic thinking and provide insight at the planning (including target development) and buying stages, as well as leading mid and post-campaign analyses, optimizations, and strategy recommendations;
- Identify, synthesize and provide relevant, actionable insights, learnings and recommendations across the consumer, competitive, industry and media landscape that drive cross-media communication strategy, planning, investment and optimization to maximize campaign effectiveness, performance and ROI;
- Manipulate multiple data sources to analyze campaign performance across multiple dimensions (sales, brand equity, search interest, website visits, social media, advertising activity);
- Develop and deepen collaborative relationships with key decision makers – both internally and at clients – based upon credibility, trust and value-creation – and become an ongoing trusted advisor;
- Supervise and train junior Insights team members, ensuring the quality of work and individual development of the team;
- Write POVs on industry topics, including the evaluation of research, measurement, analytics and data vendors and techniques;
- Judge and quantify results of advertising and know what to do with this information.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree or above in relevant disciplines;
- 3+ years of experience working as a Manager of Analytics and Insights preferred;
- Hands-on client-facing experience designing, executing, and delivering research methodologies, data, analytical and measurement solutions;
- Proven analytical skills; ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations;
- Working knowledge of data science tools such as R, Python, SQL, SAS, Hadoop, tableau and other packages;
- Strong understanding of media and marketing research tools and databases;
- Comprehensive understanding of media and marketing research metrics and tools: Media (CPM, GRP, etc.), Business Analytics (ROI, Media Efficiency and Effectiveness, etc.);
- Experience in working with cross functional practice areas is highly preferred;
- Strong customer focus – recognizes the importance of providing outstanding service to support both internal and external teams;
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, multi-tasking capabilities and detail oriented.
