ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work from a set of core principles to scamp (draw) the elements that will make up the experience.
- Comfort in working with creative and technology teams to refine these scamps into functioning modules that will make up the final digital experience (across desktop, tablet, mobile)
- Previous work with responsive/adaptive design
- Understanding of how to construct experiences using a modular approach – not just thinking of static pages
- A critical eye to understand the effect of visual design on an experience/interaction and be able to work with creative teams to achieve the best result
- Understanding of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS/etc.) to inform the design of the user experience and to be able to work with technology staff on new solutions. (Previous skills in front end development are a plus, but not required)
- Not be tied to one particular way of working, but adaptable to work with others to determine the best working model to deliver the best possible solution.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience covering all areas of the user experience discipline and their associated deliverables – UX Strategy, Experience Design, User Research
- Previous agency experience is a plus
- Strong portfolio
- Expert knowledge of web design
- Familiar with responsive design techniques and mobile UX best practices
- Solid experience on Information Architecture, Wireframing, Visual design
