Social Media Strategist

BRIEF

A top-tier marketing communication agency is looking for a Social Media Strategist to join their growing team.

 
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide social strategic input for clients to help achieve their business goals;
  • Develop a total understanding of target audience on their social behaviours;
  • Implement effective social campaigns and identify appropriate platforms to proliferate;
  • Coordinate with internal parties to ensure the social media campaigns and content are of high accuracy and creativity;
  • Monitor social buzz to provide insights and recommendations for clients;
  • Manage and nurture a team of 3 junior Social Media Executive & Community Manager.

 
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree holder in Communications, Marketing or related disciplines;
  • 5+ years of experience in social or digital strategic planning, preferably in social, digital, PR or advertising agencies;
  • Familiar with Hong Kong social media landscape. Knowledge in China’s social landscape is a great bonus;
  • Social and digital savvy is a must;
  • Experienced in different social listening and analytic tools (K-Matrix, Radian6, Meltwater, Facebook Insight, Google Analytics and etc) is definitely an advantage;
  • Knowledge in consumer behaviour and digital technology advancement is a plus;
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills;
  • Fluent in Cantonese, English and Mandarin;
  • Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
